Aurelia's Farm B&B is all about fresh local produce, home cooking and cosy accommodation, all year round. Just two minutes drive from the centre of Uralla, but with a wonderful rural outlook and plenty of space to roam we are ideally situated to cater for short or longer term breaks.
Almost all of our fruit, vegetables and meat comes from local farms and backyard gardens. We cook regularly for various local customers, so fresh home baking and cooking is part of the experience.
Our Cottage is a separate, fully self contained 2 bedroom cottage, offering a private place to stay with lovely views of Salisbury Hill. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two king single beds. Both rooms have built in wardrobes and the queen size room has a digital TV. The lounge area has a comfy 3 seater couch and some armchairs to watch TV in, or to just admire the view. The lounge has double doors on to the verandah with a BBQ and some outdoor seating. The bathroom has a lovely, deep spa bath, double basins and a spacious shower, while also accommodating a front loader washing machine should you need to get a few things washed while you are here. The front door opens on to a wide, covered carport (great for getting in and out of the car in bad weather) that also holds a good sized clothesline. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher and has a store of supplies to get you underway with any cooking you might feel like doing, while the dining table provides a great location for up to 6 people to sit and enjoy a meal.
We provide a generous breakfast basket for each day of your stay including our home made banana bread and muesli, fresh local eggs, home made jams and fresh bread from our local bakery. We are also happy to take requests for assistance with lunch, dinner and picnic basket provisions.
We are passionate about supporting local businesses and have established a small 'shop' on one shelf in the Cottage. We have a small mini bar featuring locally produced (award winning) gin and whisky from Eastview Estate, as well as an extensive wine list featuring our favourite cool climate New England wines. And of course we have a range of craft beers from Uralla's own New England Brewing Co. We also stock local products including goatsmilk soaps and lip balm, alongside our own handmade cards, caramel, nougat and panforte.
Max is our friendly farm cat and he features in one of our photos above. He is a gentle, middle aged, short hair cat we rescued from the pound and he can at times invite himself in to your accommodation. He does not mind at all if you direct him back out and we do clean thoroughly between each guest, taking particular care to remove any cat hair.

During your stay you may wish to browse our local wine and beer list - it has been a long time coming but has been worth the wait. We have 640ml long necks of boutique beer from Uralla's very own brewery, The New England Brewing Co - they make a great Brown, Blonde and Pale Ale, with sensational seasonal beers too. We also stock a range of New England wines, including champagne, from Merilba Estate (Kingstown), Toppers Mountain Wines (Inverell) and Blickling Estate (Bendemeer). New England Drinks Oct 2015
Aurelia's Farm is conveniently located on the edge of the Uralla township, just a 5 minute drive (or a leisurely 15 minute walk) to Uralla's cafe's, restaurants, shops and pubs.
